What is processed

  • Server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser type and response code — used only for security and technical operation, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). IPs are truncated or anonymised where the host allows. Retention: as short as the provider permits (target: 7 days).
  • Email you send us: address, name if you give it, and message content, solely to reply and, where relevant, correct a piece. Basis: consent and legitimate interest. Retention: up to two years.
  • Cookie-free analytics: aggregate visit counts with no persistent identifiers and no cross-site tracking. Basis: legitimate interest, no profiling.

What is not processed

No accounts, no registration forms, no advertising cookies, no social pixels, no Google Analytics, no payment data (nothing is sold), no automated decisions with legal effects, no data from under-16s.

Recipients

Hosting/CDN provider, a cookie-free analytics provider located in the EU, and authorities where legally required. Data is never sold.
